Chillicothe Lions Club
We just finished up our last meeting. We were fortunate enough to be able to help a few organizations at this meeting with some donations. The Special Olympics for the State of Illinois, Back the Blue Organization, as well as the Lions Club Adopt a Camper—a chance for local children with vision and hearing needs in the state of Illinois to enjoy some time at a camp geared just for them. Then also the Local Fireworks that will be celebrating our nation's 250th this year.
Plans were also made for meetings for future upcoming events like the Mr. Chillicothe event, and others. If you would like to be involved with helping local organizations that help others in Chillicothe and nearby communities, please consider joining one of the many here in town. If you're interested in the Lions Club and would like to observe a meeting or see how we do things, come check us out the second Wednesday of every month at Pearce Community Center here in town at 6pm.
