Raymond “Ray” Brautigam
Ray, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, trusted friend, expert mechanic, and lifelong outdoorsman, passed away leaving behind a legacy built on love, hard work, and a whole lot of grease under his fingernails.
Ray leaves behind his wife Cheri who shared life’s joys and challenges with quiet strength and unwavering commitment.
Their family grew to include six children, Peter, Chris (Katie), Gary (Shianne), Jonathon (Stephanie) Bergen, Misty (Mark) Combs, Whitney (Anna) Olson, 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Ray loved hunting. Whether he was handing down life lessons in the garage, or in the duck blind telling stories with that familiar twinkle in his eye, he built bonds that will last generations.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that his love continues to run strong through his family.
If heaven has a duck blind, we know the ducks are flying for him!
