Open Invitation to Open Conversations This Is Alpha!
Something new is coming to Chillicothe, and we want the whole community to be a part of it! Join us (Chillicothe Christian Church) on Thursdays, starting April 9, at Pearce Community Center (6-8pm) for Alpha. Every week a small group will take the time to get together and discuss faith, life, purpose, and meaning in an environment that doesn’t require anything from you but welcomes you to contribute to the conversation and come face to face with the God who made you and loves you.
If you’re curious about belief, everyday life, God, and how those things go together then Alpha is the perfect place for you. You can ask anything and not be judged or ridiculed—everything really is fair game. And that’s the beauty of Alpha—it’s a safe space to question and explore the greater and important things in life.
Everyone is welcome, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s free, there’s food, you get to meet other great people, and there’s no pressure to come back—although we really hope you do!
Each week, we will spend time in conversation, getting to know one another while sharing a meal; we’ll watch a video session on a specific topic related to faith and life, and then we’ll discuss it amongst ourselves.
