Mon, Mar 30 - Mon, Apr 6: No School – Spring Break
Tue, Apr 7 & Thu Apr 9: IVC will hold their IVC Cheer Try-Out Clinic from 4 - 6pm in the Auxiliary Gym with final tryouts on Friday, April 17th beginning at 4pm.
Sat, Apr 11: IVC Band Boosters will hold their annual lawn mower clinic from 8am - 1pm. Help support the IVC Band by dropping off your lawn mower for a spring tune-up!
Sun, Apr 12: The second annual Mr. IVC Competition. Come support your favorite senior as they vie for the title!
Tue, Apr 14: ACT/Pre-ACT Test Day
Fri, Apr 17: IVC Choir students will perform in the “Spotlight” concert at 7pm. in IVC’s auditorium. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our students perform musical pieces of their choice as solos, duets, and small ensembles.
Sat, Apr 18: Princess Project in IVC’s Commons
Mon, Apr 20: Early Release – School Improvement Planning IVCHS students are released at 10:45am.
Tue, Apr 21: Dance Team Information Meeting from 6pm - 7pm in the Art Room
Fri, Apr 24: IVC’s Everyday Leadership class is hosting another Blood Drive on Friday, April 24th from 8am - 1pm. Community members are welcome!
Sat, Apr 25: IVC’s junior class is hosting Prom 2026 at Olive and Oak Weddings and Events from 8pm - 11pm.
Mon, Apr 27 - Fri, May 1: Cystic Fibrosis Week
IVC district students will be on spring break through Monday, April 6, 2026, but they will return to a full schedule of fun events through the rest of the school year!
All freshmen, sophomore, and junior students will participate in ACT/pre-ACT testing on Tuesday, April 14th. Seniors will not be attending school on this day. Students will report to school at their usual time. Students will be released earlier than their usual release time. See future school correspondence regarding early dismissal times.
During the last week of April, IVC students will celebrate a semester of fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Students have been working hard going door-to-door collecting donations and finding a variety of ways to support this worthy cause. The week will culminate on Friday, May 1st with an assembly and lunch auction. Look for social media posts that state the total amount raised by our students and generous Chillicothe community!
Once again, IVCHS thanks our Chillicothe community for your continued support of our sports and activities. Please see the IVC district website: www.ivcschools.com and select your student’s school and calendar to view the many events that are scheduled through the month of April. To view sporting events, click the “More” button in the upper right corner of the IVCHS webpage and then click the “Athletics” button to view the calendar of daily and upcoming competitions.
