Residents at Arc of Chillicothe have new items from which to choose when they shop monthly at their Little Store. Thanks to donations from Chillicothe Circle of Service members, they may select shampoo, shower gel, hand lotion, word search books, colored markers, small candy bars, and many other items.
Laura Sniff, co-owner of The Picket Fence Foundation and Blue Ridge Community Farm, is our newest member and we welcome her to our organization!
Circle of Service will award $8,500 in scholarships to graduating students at the IVC Senior Honors Night in May. Memorial scholarships in honor of Peggy Pierson ($1,500) and Nancy Wilson ($2,000) will be presented, along with two - $2,000 scholarships for college-bound students and a $1,000 trade school scholarship.
Spring Planting 2026 at Three Sisters Park is in the books, and we thank our members for supporting this informative activity for students in grades 5 – 7. They experienced what life was like on the farm in 1918 and, at lunchtime, enjoyed games children of their age would have played. It’s an eye-opening experience for all, including volunteers! Thanks to many of our members for supporting this event.
