American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is a unique program for girls ages 5-18. It has helped my friends and I do things that we never would have even tried without the ideas the AHG badges have presented us with. We have had opportunities to go across the country to different AHG camps, learn about the history of how our area was developed, and learn life skills like sewing, autocare, and home decorating.
I would love to see more AHG troops in the area. There are many girls who would love to be involved and could benefit from the character development programs that AHG provides. In order to start a troop, you will need a charter organization (like a church) to hold troop meetings at. There is a QR Code below to help you learn more about the program and get you started in either finding a troop in your area or starting a new troop!
As an American Heritage Girl, I have learned how to grow closer with the Lord, spend time enjoying campouts and lock-ins with friends in a safe environment, and even learn how to plan events! My goal in writing about my experience is to help encourage moms and dads to start more troops in their areas! Thank you for taking the time to read about how AHG has improved my life.
