The Mr. Chillicothe contest is over for another year and the New Mr. Chillicothe has been crowned. We would like to thank all the contestants and their sponsors as well as the businesses that let us place the canisters for voting. We also would like to thank the public that participated in the event by placing money in the canisters during the event as well as the ones who came to the carnival and gave to it.
We at the Lions Cub will take this money and will help the local charities and surrounding areas as much as possible. Again, we would like to thank everyone for the help we received from everyone involved.
If you ever thought about having fun and helping others, please consider one of the many organizations here in Chillicothe. If you are at all interested in the Lions Club and would just like to visit a meeting and see how things are ran, I encourage you to come to Pearce Community Center the second Wednesday of each month at 6pm to have some fun and help others while we do it.
