Chillicothe Rotary

The Rotary Club of Chillicothe and the Lions Club hosted their annual Eagle Watch Breakfast on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 7:30 to 10:30am at the Shore Acres Clubhouse.

Wildlife Prairie Park presented the Feathered Friends exhibit. The Audubon Society was on-site and ensured attendees experienced live eagles in action on the Illinois River. Jami Haffner shared eagle facts, along with photographs showcasing the river’s vibrant ecosystem.

The Chillicothe Public Library held an “Eagles” & “Life on the Illinois River” photo and art contest. The contest winners were displayed during the breakfast. All entries will be on display at the Chillicothe Public Library from February 3 to February 28, 2025. 

The categories and winners were:
