Scott Montgomery was born in Peoria in 1956. His family lived in Princeville, so Scott went to Princeville Grade School and graduated from Princeville High School in 1974. After graduation, he decided to join the Air Force, receiving his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. During his stint in the service, Scott was stationed in Thailand, Germany, Florida, and Korea.
