Chillicothe Player’s Annual Recognition Dinner

Chillicothe Players Theatre held their second annual recognition dinner at Grecian Gardens on Saturday evening, January 18. About 35 people attended the event. Awards were given out for each show of the 2024 season. 

The following received awards: Mary-Ellen Milem presented the awards for Suicide, Inc. The On-Stage award went to Adam Gaspar and the backstage award went to Gayle Hoskins.

Denise Beattie presented the awards for Shrek Junior with the Newcomer award going to Molly Hoffman, On-Stage award Bradyn Taylor, and the Back-Stage award Anna Schmidt.

The awards for Rainy Meadows were presented by Mary-Ellen Milam with The On-Stage award going to Katie Hancock and Monica Ash received the Back-Stage award. Bill Keltner gave the awards for A Christmas Story with the On-Stage award going to Jake Griffin and Back-Stage award to Amy Closen.

The special award of the night, the Denise Beattie Heart of the Theatre award, went to RJ Closen.

Coming soon for the 2025 season will be Harvey directed by Roseanne Urbanc, April 3-6. The youth theater production of Dare to Dream directed by is June 19-21. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, directed by Denise Beattie is August 21-24. The last show of the year, Every Christmas Story Ever Told And Then  Some, directed by Mary-Ellen Milam is November 13-16.
